Increase student engagement with inline polls in Canvas. No need to link to an external site, insert a poll in a discussion, page, assignment or even an announcement - polls can be inserted seamlessly anywhere in Canvas that uses the Rich Content Editor. Polls allow teachers to select from a variety of advanced settings to allow for flexible, dynamic class interactions.

  • Insert polls anywhere with a Rich Content Editor.
For example: pages, assignments, discussions, announcements, syllabus.
  • Multi-question polls
  • General Feedback - regardless of the response chosen, the same feedback is displayed after the student responds to the poll.
  • Response Specific Feedback - displays feedback specific to the option the student selected in the poll.
  • Required Reasoning - required student to respond to the prompt.
  • Students can report inappropriate posts
  • Enable anonymity
  • Set response windows
